I am new to jet skis and have some of the best waters in the world around me in New Zealand to take advantage of this machine.
The GP1300R is not the largest of the skis but cuts nicely through the water, and the pick-up-and-go is exceptional. It is very easy to go 100+ kph if you’re not too careful (which is the fun part).
The downside is there is not much luggage space, so a light lunch and some light clothing is all you can carry.
I bought Yamaha for the reliability and you just have to check the service schedules to see how good these machines are... big service every 100 hours... and for those who are new 100 hours is a lot of hours to get through.
Buy one you won’t regret it.
